He was only fifteen feet away. Here was Ann's chance to meet Paul McCartney. Through the crowd of over-50 baby boomers at the book signing, she was surprised that she could still see his face and the light blue dress shirt he was wearing. She had waited three entire days. She had picked out her dress used only for very special occasions, a hundred-dollar, dark-blue silk dress. And ruined it while sleeping on the sidewalk outside the Barnes and Noble bookstore the night before the big event. Paul was more important than a dress! It didn't matter that her mother would be angry. Paul was more important than an angry mother!
Ann's stomach suddenly gave a lurch. Was she seeing things...or was Paul smirking at her? No, he could have been smirking at one of the fifty-some other people in the bookstore. Why would he notice her? Then it hit her. Her silk dress was completely ruined. It had been torn up and covered in dirt and mud. And her hair! If somebody could electrocute her without the rest of her body being burned up, nobody would know the difference.
Suddenly, her stomach gave another lurch. The guards were between her and Paul. As well as lots of other people. She wanted to give up, just go home. But she hadn't gone to all this trouble just to see Paul. She had gone to all the trouble to meet him.
Suddenly, with a burst of strength only matched by superman, she burst through the tangle of people and guards and fell at Paul's feet. The guards, confused, attempted to remove her but she screamed and struggled, until she fainted from pure exhaustion.
"Get an ambulance!" a grey-headed lady yelled.
"No, get the jaws of life!" another old lady screamed.
"SHE'S NOT BREATHING!" an old man yelled. Everyone stopped. It was true.
Well, it's a good thing Sir Paul knew mouth to mouth. After the kiss of life woke Ann up, the guards used the jaws of life to pull her away from Paul's pants, which she was trying to relieve him from.
At the hospital later that day, Paul came by with a bunch of flowers. They kept visiting with each other, and the day Ann turned 18, they both ran away to the South Pacific, and married. They lived happily ever after.
THE END.
