Or rather, the name of the author... it's about the Beatles invasion in America...I am sorry I know that there are plenty of these books, but I remember reading for my beatles research paper, i checked it out at the library, and i forget the title and author, and i now want to buy it. The author proves what the Beatles did and did not do, what is myth, and what is real. How they changed and how they did not change popular music... I tried looking up my research paper, but i saved it on a flash drive, and i cannot find that thing for the life of me!!! so, if anyone may know what i am talking about.... Please give me a title and author! Thanks! i would also appreciate some other good books i should consider buying..and of course reading.

You might be talking about Beatles '64 by Rayl. Or you might have used Ticket to Ride by Larry Kane. Both cover The Beatles' American tour and the British Invasion era.
For a new book to read, I'd recommend Shoulda Been There, the only documented historical novel on the life of John Lennon. Researched over 20 years with 7 trips to Liverpool and countless interviews, the book tells John's story accurately, but in a fun and readable manner. There's even an encyclopedia of the characters in the book (who are real people) with bios of each...lots of pictures from Liverpool, too! Check ontherockbooks.com.
