The fans always say that Paul is the cute beatles, Ringo is the sad Beatle and George is the quiet beatle, they always say that John is the Wise Crack..I have to say he's witty too... I red it in wikipedia that John, loves to play pranks on people and makes fun of crippled ones...it also stated that he urged Paul to steal drugs and stuff...John can really insuilt peopl at times, but he's cunning..and I like that attitude of cunning..John did change, he became a christian (I think?) and joined activists in stopping the war.

 yeah, you're right, marianne. john was cruel in his younger days.. but he did mature a lot, and became a promoter for peace, mankind, and whatnots. ;D I really luv his witty side!  i am not sure what religion he practised.. he probably experimented with some.

Our Johnny was never a christian, or of any ordained faith - he was a spiritual intellectual and said "we are all God."
He did have a kind of faith, but I think it was in mankind.

Harsh - but it makes me laugh when people used to ask John where his mum was he'd hang his head, and whisper "she's dead".
He'd then run off roaring with laughter! haha, little bugger.
