His last name is McCartney. So it's a shorter version for that. "Macca"
Also, I read that John used to call Paul - Macca, even before other people called him that.
In Britain, it's popular to call someone with a McC name, Macca.

hmmmmm .. i'd pronounced it - MAH-KA.. lol that's americanized.. i guess if it's the british way, they'd say it "MEH-CA" really fast! .. And for Heather Mills, she'd be MUCK-A! (i got it from the headlines for many mucka arrticles here) ick ick ick, don't search afterall--if you don't wanna see her NKAED (can you even decipher that?) {{anywayas, I prefer to call Paul, Paul! not MACCA }}

I was wondering about that yesterday during a car ride... I thought it meant something else that I REALLY do not want to discuss (it starts with a p)... Anyway, does anyone know what macca wacker means, then?

hmm. UrbanDictionary says, wacker A fire-person who is overly enthusiastic about the fireservice. So, it kinda rhymes together.

During the Beatles 1964 1st US tour, a DJ by the name of Murray The K was playing Beatles records in heavy rotation. He dubbed himself the 5th Beatle. He was also with them in their hotel room as seen in the video "The Beatles First US Visit". In one scene, John calls Murray, "Wacker the K". In the Beatles terms a wacker is a nut case a wacko. Since Murray was known to say strange things, strange to the Beatles anyway, they thought he was off his rocker a bit. Thus explains the term Wacka Macca. Or at least is my explanation.

I don't like that term. It sounds too much like "wanker" ..wacker.. wanker.. whacka hahah. Now it's beginning to sound like Gonzo saying it.
